In industrial motors, wear and tear occurs primarily on components that are directly exposed to movement, friction, and heat generation. Bearings are particularly affected and can fail due to vibrations, overheating, or lubrication problems. Engine cooling also plays a key role: a dirty or defective fan quickly leads to overheating of the rotor and stator. Typical consequences include increased energy consumption, imbalances, bearing damage, or engine failure.

The AI-supported analysis of sensor data provides precise indications of incipient bearing wear, which manifests itself in vibrations, overheating, or lubrication problems. Irregularities in engine cooling are also detected, for example, when the fan is blocked, dirty, or no longer generates sufficient air flow. The resulting temperature increases in the rotor and stator areas can also be reliably identified. In this way, impending failures can be avoided at an early stage, maintenance measures can be planned in a targeted manner, and spare parts can be efficiently scheduled: with the positive side effect of optimizing inventory levels and sustainably increasing plant availability.
